  • Criminal Sexual Conduct with a minor. Thrower & Schwartz were able to get the charge dismissed at the preliminary hearing with the judge citing lack of probable cause.
  • Client had a second Criminal Domestic Violence charge, second. Thrower & Schwartz were able to negotiate a favorable disposition for the client without a conviction, jail time, or probation.
  • Represented a plaintiff who was struck and killed by a motorist while riding his bicycle. Settled for high six-figures.
  • Had a client charged with DUI who blew well over the legal limit. Was able to negotiate a reckless driving ticket and keep her license.
  • Client had a mechanic’s lean on an automobile he serviced but was being repossessed by the bank holding the title. Thrower & Schwartz were able to recover his fees from the bank for the client.
  • Represented a client for a civil right’s violation where the client was wrongfully accused of theft. Through extensive discovery it was proved that the manager of the store directed and encouraged the arrest of the client and he was falsely accused and arrested. The case was settled very favorably for the plaintiff.
  • Represented a client who was charged with criminal sexual of conduct with a minor. The trial lasted five days and resulted in a mistrial due to a hung jury. Charges later dismissed.
  • Not Guilty- Client was charged with Attempted Criminal Sexual Conduct 1st Degree, Kidnapping, Possession of a Weapon during a violent crime, and Impersonating a Police Officer.  After a three day trial client was found Not Guilty on three of the four charges and found guilty of Impersonating a Police Officer and sentenced to one year suspended on the service of eighty-nine days time served.
